About the Role

Anchor Concrete is seeking a reliable and safety-focused AZ Driver to support the transportation and delivery of precast concrete products and materials. This position involves local deliveries throughout Eastern Ontario and works closely with our yard, production, and logistics teams to ensure materials are delivered safely and efficiently. This is a plant-based position located in Kingston, Ontario and drivers return home daily.

Transportation and Delivery

Operate company AZ trucks and trailers safely and efficiently

Transport precast concrete products to construction sites and customers

Ensure loads are properly secured and compliant with transportation safety regulations

Vehicle Operation and Compliance

Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections

Maintain accurate driver logs and transportation documentation

Follow all Ministry of Transportation regulations and company safety policies

Yard and Loading Support

Coordinate with yard staff during loading and unloading operations

Verify delivery documentation and product counts

Ensure loads are properly secured before leaving the facility

Customer and Site Interaction

Represent Anchor Concrete professionally at job sites and customer locations

Follow site-specific safety procedures and delivery instructions

Communicate delivery updates with dispatch and internal teams

Equipment Care

Maintain cleanliness and general condition of trucks and trailers

Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly

Licensing

Valid AZ Driver’s License in good standing

Clean Driver’s Abstract

Experience

Experience operating AZ-class trucks and trailers

Experience transporting construction materials or heavy loads considered an asset

Skills and Attributes

Strong commitment to safety and compliance

Reliable, punctual, and professional

Comfortable working in a construction or manufacturing environment

Ability to work collaboratively with yard and production teams
